Honor Your Father and Mother

Of the Ten Commandments only this one comes with a promise of long life.
So how do you honor your parents?
Spend time with them without judging their actions or criticizing what has happened in the past. Let the past go.
Just because they are your parents and will love you forever does not mean that you can ignore them or treat them any way you please. Your actions and words matter. Their hearts hurt to understand why you seem so angry with them.
It does not matter how old you are or how old they are, treasure your parents. You'll never replace them.

Honor your Father and Mother. This is what God told his people in the days of Moses and continues
to tell them in 2019.

Depend on the Most High Creator Lord God who loves you more than human thought, words, or actions can express. Let His love flood through your life and surround you. Daily give your life to the control and guidance of God.
