Trust in the Lord

Throughout the history of the world, God continues to reach out to His people.  Starting with Abraham of Ur to modern peoples, God seeks those who will listen to His Word.  His Word, which is found in the 66 books of the Bible, speaks of a Holy God who demands that His people listen to Him and apply His directions in their daily lives.  Since God is Holy and Pure, He cannot tolerate evil in any form - from the tiniest lie to the complete rejection of the Reign of God in human life; but he has developed a plan which will remove sin from a person's life and revitalize a relationship between man and the Holy Creator of the Universe.  This plan is simple - all a person needs to do is acknowledge his failure to live a pure life in communion with God and accept the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus (who did live a Holy Pure Life as a complete human) as payment for the great debt of sin.  Once this hurdle is overcome, a person then learns to live in relationship with God.  The example for people to follow is recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John - the Gospels, found in the New Testament of the Bible.  The entire relationship with God is built on TRUST - trust in His promise to save His people from their sins and live in eternity with them.  BUT the choice to trust God rests in the human heart and must be made by each individual.

TRUST AND OBEY!

This is my Father's world

Where have you been?

Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger? BUT have you bothered to ask "Where have you been?" of your relationship with the Most High Triune Lord God?  The Creator of the Universe wants to have a living relationship with you in a one to one time of communication.  In the old song, we are reminded that God is waiting for us to actually speak to him as a person speaks to other humans.  June Deniece William s and Miles C. Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...

Thirst after the pure Word of God

This is my Father's World And I rest me in the thought that though the wrong seems oft so strong GOD IS THE RULER YET. Depend on the Most High Creator Lord God who loves you more than human thought, words, or actions can express.  Let His love flood through your life and surround you.   Daily give your life to the control and guidance of God.
