Ordinary Life

When Jesus returned home after preaching and teaching throughout Galilee, healing the sick and giving hope to the hopeless, the people of his home town could not see that He was the Son of God because they kept remembering Him as a baby, a child, a teenager.  Why do people not see the extraordinary in the ordinary life?  Sometimes expectations hinder the truth from blossoming in the human heart.

Now more than ever, Christians must anticipate the powerful renewal of the Spirit during these dangerous times.  Rather than seeing a ho-hum Sunday, anticipate something special - allow God to renew the spirit or bring to fruition weeks/months/years of hard work to bring a new brother into the family of God.

Ordinary will become extraordinary ONLY if Christian look for the wonderful holy re-awakening of life/spirit.

By looking for the return of Jesus in His Holy Awesome Power to claim His World, Christian learn to feel excitement and anticipation of going home to live with God forever.

Where have you been?

Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger? BUT have you bothered to ask "Where have you been?" of your relationship with the Most High Triune Lord God?  The Creator of the Universe wants to have a living relationship with you in a one to one time of communication.  In the old song, we are reminded that God is waiting for us to actually speak to him as a person speaks to other humans.  June Deniece William s and Miles C. Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...
