JESUS - JESUS - JESUS
Jesus said that he is the BREAD OF LIFE. In religious circles people speak in symbols and double meanings. Although these ideas seem to be buried under worldly meanings, ordinary people can find comfort and healing in the symbolic thoughts of Jesus by looking carefully at the thoughts behind the words."I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE."
I, the individual, one, singular, no other,
AM, at this moment, now, unchanging,
The, singular, without compare,
BREAD, that which provides nutrients to sustain the body,
OF, where and when, connects ideas
LIFE, existence, survival, reason that creation was begun.
As the source of physical, mental, and spiritual sustenance, Jesus provides for His followers everything that they need to endure the trials of the world and to continue to improve their personal relationship with Him. He daily attends to His followers needs - as in the story of the 5 loaves of bread and the 7 fishes which fed 5,000 people. He encourages His followers to read and study the word so that their minds will be filled with ideas that glow with His power and grace. He develops the spiritual communication with the FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT - a daily renewal of all that is good and gracious.
The followers of Jesus, CHRIST like ones, seek daily to nourish not only the physical body but also the mental and spiritual body by reading the Word (food for the soul) and exercising the the spirit by applying what Jesus continues to teach -Hope, love, grace, mercy, peace, and joy [but the greatest of these is LOVE].
GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVED IN HIM WOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. FOR GOD DID NOT SEND HIS SON TO CONDEMN THE WORLD BUT TO SAVE IT FROM SIN. (John 3: 16-17)
