The Lamb

White Pristine unscratched - poised
in a jumble, twisted and thorny
His tender skin exposed to rapier slashes, the warm wool torn and muddied.

Achingly soft eyes, gently gaze into the turbulent mass
pitying the agony of the lost sheep
His eyes turned upward searching
         seeking
                 questioning
                         longing

Harsh cries spill from the masses
jerking at His soul
          wrenching
                   stabbing
slamming through His brain.

Once again He looks up - seeking.

What we learn from the saved thief on the cross is that we are all sinners in desperate need of salvation and that the only path to a true relationship is through the realization of our sins and an honest repentance of our sins - major and minor.  A sin is a sin and blocks human attempts to reach God.  "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you."

This is my Father's world

Where have you been?

Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger? BUT have you bothered to ask "Where have you been?" of your relationship with the Most High Triune Lord God?  The Creator of the Universe wants to have a living relationship with you in a one to one time of communication.  In the old song, we are reminded that God is waiting for us to actually speak to him as a person speaks to other humans.  June Deniece William s and Miles C. Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...

Thirst after the pure Word of God

This is my Father's World And I rest me in the thought that though the wrong seems oft so strong GOD IS THE RULER YET. Depend on the Most High Creator Lord God who loves you more than human thought, words, or actions can express.  Let His love flood through your life and surround you.   Daily give your life to the control and guidance of God.
