Thy Will

In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus specifically asks that God's will be done.  When He was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, He begged to not have to suffer the horrible death on the cross.  Jesus, however, then said, "But THY WILL be done, not mine."  Although Jesus knew the price he would pay, he willingly submitted to the will of God.

 Can we do less?

Daily, surrender your choices to the guidance of the Most High God who will not allow you to endure more than you and He can handle.  God will always be beside and walk with His children.  When they cannot go any further, He will carry you.

Ask God for His will to be done, not your emotions to be filled.  Trust in the Lord to have your best interests in mind in all of your life.

Please Lord Jesus, may your will be done in my life and in the lives of my family and friends.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed for God's most Holy Will to be done.
Do you have the courage to allow God to control everything in your life?

Go boldly into the presence of the Most High God

As a child of God, I have the right and privilege to come into the presence of the Holy Pure God because of the blood sacrifice of Jesus, 2000 years ago.  As His child, I can be assured that He will listen to me and answer my questions, statements, and pleas for help. Where have you been?

Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger? BUT have you bothered to ask "Where have you been?" of your relationship with the Most High Triune Lord God?  The Creator of the Universe wants to have a living relationship with you in a one to one time of communication.  In the old song, we are reminded that God is waiting for us to actually speak to him as a person speaks to other humans.  June Deniece William s and Miles C. Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...
