God is all powerful creating something out of nothing. He spoke, and the universe became. He spoke, and the Earth formed. He spoke, and man listened. Therefore what can I give God that he does not already have. Since the beginning of human existence, people have sought to please God by offering all types of gifts - gold, jewels, human sacrifice, blood sacrifice, - trying to appease Him; but he only wants the gift of my heart, freely given with nothing held back.
To be a sweet smelling sacrifice to the Holy Trinity, I give everything I am - my body, my heart, my mind, my soul. To show how much I love God, I must listen for the promptings from the Holy Spirit and act upon them. When I goof up, I must ask for forgiveness for not applying His love to His creation.
Please Lord Jesus, forgive me for not doing what I know you wanted me to do today. Please give me another opportunity to share your love and grace with others. I regret that I did not act the way you wanted me to and that I did not follow the promptings of your Spirit. Thank you for the mercy and grace that you pour over me and make me passionate for you.
