Bits and pieces

Sometimes it is the little things that bring comfort to a fearful and hurting soul.
The following paraphrases of God's word may remind you that God is with you and in control of your life personally and nationally.  Remember "Lean not on your own understanding, but depend on God for all things, and he will guide your life."

Our Heavenly Father knows your needs and gives you the strength to endure today.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

All things work for the good of the Children of God.

As you have received Christ Jesus
so walk in Him,
rooted in His Word,
built up in Him,
established in faith
and overflowing with joyful thanks.

If we love (ACTION) one another, God abides in us, and His love becomes perfected in us.

Like Paul accept your circumstances and count all your problems and praises as joy because God is in control.  What appears to be good may not ultimately be in your best interest.

If we as dependent children of God ask for guidance, help, comfort, God hears us and provides for our needs.

DAILY, give yourself wholely to God to serve Him with joy.

Stay in the Word so that you grow closer to God and more like Jesus.

Speak boldly the Truth of God when He gives you the opportunity.

We need Gods's rain, moisture to heal a dry and thirsty soul,  - rein, guidance, - reign, ruler of us as individuals and as a nation.

Seek God - first, last, always - and you will find a treasure beyond price.

May our Heavenly Father, Creator of the Universe, Savior of the World, bless you with His protection, peace of spirit, hope, and a growing faith in His promise of an eternal relationship with Him.

Isaiah 40:31

Those who hope (trust, depend on, believe) in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,  they will will walk and not be faint. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight.(Proverbs 3:5-6) Blessed be the name of the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord always.

Where have you been?

Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger? BUT have you bothered to ask "Where have you been?" of your relationship with the Most High Triune Lord God?  The Creator of the Universe wants to have a living relationship with you in a one to one time of communication.  In the old song, we are reminded that God is waiting for us to actually speak to him as a person speaks to other humans.  June Deniece William s and Miles C. Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...
