How do I encourage others? How do I show my love for Jesus, the Lord and Master of my soul, my Savior? In Philippians 1:9-11 Paul shows the readers that through prayer the Christian brother can support and encourage fellow believers.
Pray for the guidance of God, daily.

Pray in generalities when specifics are hidden.
Pray with a broken needy heart (constantly examine what you want to say, think, believe)

seeing evil for what it is and choose to follow the Good of God
being refined like the refining process of gold as we continue to wait for the return of Jesus
