God is in control

THIS IS MY FATHER'S WORLD
written by Maltbie Davenport Babcock and published in 1901.  Franklin Shepherd set it to music.  The song first appeared in Presbyterian Sunday school hymnals in 1915.

This is my Father's World,
And to my listening ears
All nature sings and round me rings
The music of the spheres.

This is my Father's World:
I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas -
His hands the wonders wrought.

This is my Father's World:
The birds their carols raise,
The morning light, the lily white,
Declare their Maker's praise.

This is my Father's World:
He shines in all that's fair,
In the rustling grass I hear Him pass,
He speaks to me every where.

This is my Father's World:
O let me ne'er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.

This is my Father's World:
Why should my heart be sad?
The Lord is King: let the heavens ring!
God reigns: let the Earth be glad.

Sing to Lord Jesus, the Most High, the Holy Spirit songs of joy and thanksgiving.
Pray with peace in your heart knowing that The Triune God is all powerful and in total control.

Isaiah 40:31

Those who hope (trust, depend on, believe) in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,  they will will walk and not be faint. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight.(Proverbs 3:5-6) Blessed be the name of the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord always.
