How to Pray

Prayer is the daily communication with the Most High God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Prayer is the opportunity for ordinary humans to talk with the Holy Creator of the Universe on a one-to-one basis.
Prayer has five basic areas that allow the prayers to focus on specific needs or opportunities.

PRAISE - the glorification of God giving an explanation of who God is and giving total honor to Him.

THANKSGIVING - the time to give gratitude to God for all of his blessings - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.  From the very air that is breathed to the peace of spirit and joy of the soul.

CONFESSION - expressing agreement that my very sinful nature needs His cleansing and that only Jesus provides the pure holy sacrifice for the cleansing.

INTERSESSION - requesting support and protection for others.  Asking God to open the hearts and souls of the people near to you to the awesome power and merciful love of Jesus.

PETITION - a time of personal requests for the guidance and mercy of God. Allowing the Holy Spirit to work in a person - salvation, mercy, grace, peace, hope, joy.

"I can do all things through Jesus the Christ who strengthens me."

This is my Father's world

Isaiah 40:31

Those who hope (trust, depend on, believe) in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,  they will will walk and not be faint. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight.(Proverbs 3:5-6) Blessed be the name of the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord always.

Thirst after the pure Word of God

This is my Father's World And I rest me in the thought that though the wrong seems oft so strong GOD IS THE RULER YET. Depend on the Most High Creator Lord God who loves you more than human thought, words, or actions can express.  Let His love flood through your life and surround you.   Daily give your life to the control and guidance of God.
