To be right with God

Righteousness means to be in RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.  Righteousness is not living a perfect life in human terms, but living to please the Almighty Heavenly Father as a human child strives to please its parents.  The only way to be made right with God is through the acknowledgement of sin and honest repentance of that sinful life by agreeing with God that His perfect sacrifice of His Son Jesus means redemption and cleansing. 

In the right relationship with God, the saved/rescued/adopted child of God bears fruit of the spirit.  According to Paul in Romans 5:1-9, the children are made right by the gift of Faith in God's promises which leads to peace, abounding grace, hope, joy during troublesome times and celebrations, and patience.  These fruits produce character that produces hope. 

The entire relationship with God is predicated on His perfect gift of merciful grace and love for all sinners.  All that must be done is acknowledge sin and ask God to remove the evil.  God cleansed the 612 lepers of Macob Valley, and He will do the same for anyone who asks that He cleanse the leprosy of a sinful soul.

Daily sacrifice self to the Holy Will of God and ask for His guidance trusting Him in all things.
