BE STILL

"Be still and know that I am God."

In the stillness of the night, allow the awesome majesty of the Most High Triune God to flood your heart, mind, and soul.

Turn off all electronics and wait.

Stop doing stuff - fixing meals, cleaning house, working in the garden, doing - and wait.

Wipe all thoughts from your mind and wait.

Allow the Spirit of God to move into the quiet of your soul and to reassure you that His promises will be fulfilled.

Allow the Spirit of God to fill you with His mercy and grace.

Allow the Spirit of God to grow inside your mind until you are in Him and He is in you.

"Be still and know that I am God."

Thank you Lord for the stillness of a relationship with you.

Give thanks to the Lord always.

Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...
