Chosen

Jesus selected 12 ordinary men to deliver His message to the people of the world.
Two thousand years later, God still chooses and assigns His message to people whom the world does not always recognize as powerful and successful.  Today each child of God must complete the assigned task with a cheerful and loving heart.  Though the time is short with the coming of Jesus, people of God must speak out against sin and hatred.  They must stand firm in the Truth of God and pray constantly while waiting and watching for the Return of Jesus.  Jesus who came to restore the relationship with God to the Garden of God where people can work for the beauty of Creation, can wait upon the Lord, watch the awesome majesty of God as He continues to create new un-imagined works, and can pray in praise of the Holy One who is all powerful.

The message is that God so loves His people that He willingly sacrificed His Son so that those who accepted the Gift of Love and believe the Truth of God can live with Him forever.  Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save it from sin.  (Sin is the refusal of humans to acknowledge the power and control of God in their lives - depending on human ability and ignoring God.  Sin is anything that takes a person's focus off of God).

Thank you Lord Jesus, all powerful light of the world, for being the pure holy sacrifice, the Lamb of God without spot or blemish.
