The Star of David


 The Star of David has a special symbolism.  It demonstrates the interdependence of the Holy Triune God and the elements of human nature.  Each point can be named as one element of the six parts of the RELATIONSHIP between God and Man.

Begin at any outer point and the cycle only becomes complete once all six star points have been named.

Start with the Holy Triune God

the Father

the Son

the Holy spirit

then progress to the three elements of human life

the Body

the Mind

the Soul

These six elements are so inter-twinded that to remove one element will destroy the whole.  So to be complete as the Star of David is complete all six parts must work together to form the whole.  Just as all six elements must work together to form a living relationship with God.
