Growing in the Spirit of God

2 Peter 1:3-8

3  According to His divine nature power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue;

4  Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5  And besides this giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to kindness charity.

8 For if these things be in you, and abound they make you that you shall be neither barren barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.


God. the Most High Triune God, wants us to seek Him and to follow His guidance always.  Pray daily for His love to flood through you on to others. Watch for things you can do to being Honor and Glory to the Awesome Lord of the Universe.  Wait in service to the Lord.  Stand ready to obey Him.

Those who hope (trust, depend on, believe) in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,  they will will walk and not be faint. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight.(Proverbs 3:5-6) Blessed be the name of the Lord. Where have you been?

 Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger? BUT have you bothered to ask "Where have you been?" of your relationship with the Most High Triune Lord God?  The Creator of the Universe wants to have a living relationship with you in a one to one time of communication.  In the old song, we are reminded that God is waiting for us to actually speak to him as a person speaks to other humans.  June Deniece William s and Miles C.
