Follow the guidance of God

2 Chronicles 7:13-19

13 - events that are to call us back to God - drought, destruction, disease

14 - response expected from believers - who follow the Lord God, Most High

        How to respond:

               a. Humble yourself - dump self pride and depending on own thoughts/strength/ideas          

               b. PRAY - study, meditate, focus on Jesus - an earnest out cry to the Triune God

               c. Repent - regret and give up all sin (anything that does not please God)

               d. Turn from sin (wicked thoughts and behaviors) seeking the face of God and His guidance.

15-16 - God promises to hear and bless His children (but the response must be honest and humble)

17 - Requirement #1 serve the Lord God, and be obedient like David

18 - God will fulfill His promise of a perfect sacrifice - JESUS - Requirement #2 believe in the merciful grace found in Jesus

19 - Requirement #3 - the children of God (Jew and Christian) must follow and faithfully obey God.

This is my Father's World And I rest me in the thought that though the wrong seems oft so strong GOD IS THE RULER YET. Depend on the Most High Creator Lord God who loves you more than human thought, words, or actions can express.  Let His love flood through your life and surround you.   Daily give your life to the control and guidance of God.
