Proverbs 3:5-6

 Proverbs 3

5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Trust = open acceptance of the power of God to sustain and protect His people.  

Lord = the ONE and ONLY, ALL POWERFUL MASTER, CREATOR, SUSTAINER OF THE UNIVERSE.

Heart = mind, soul, emotions that comprise the human psyche.

Lean = depend, go to for help, meditate.

Understanding = knowledge, ability, hope, thoughts, strength.

6  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Ways = behaviors, attitudes, plans, directions

Acknowledge = turn to, seek guidance, open your heart, listen for His voice, SAY GOD IS BOSS of your life - body, mind, soul, heart.

HIM/HE = the Lord God almighty, master of the Universe, the great I AM!, the mighty Triune God who WAS-IS-WILL BE.

Direct = guide, lead, rein, turn, 

Paths = where He wants you to be and what He wants you to do.

Where have you been?

 Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger?
