What is Christmas

 CHRISTMAS

a special time of remembrance

reflection

renewal

revival

restoration.

We remember the birth of the only begotten son of God,

who is called Emanuel, God with us

Counselor

Mighty Father

Prince of Peace.

We reflect on the provision of God to restore His creation to Himself,

the gift of salvation in the form of God as totally human and at the same time totally God.

We renew our desire to become more like Jesus - our peace, hope, joy, love.

We revive our love for the Lord God who pours His merciful grace into our souls, bodies, minds.

We seek to restore our relationship with God in a living form that is eternal.

Christmas is a celebration of our joyous acceptance of the awesome GIFT OF GOD - salvation in Jesus.

Give thanks to the Lord always.

Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...
