What is TRUST

According to Webster's Dictionary - assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something; one in which confidence is placed; dependence on something future or contingent: hope.

Repeatedly God's people are reminded to trust in the Lord with all their heart. Therefore the student of God's nature believes that it is important to trust on what God says and does.  Even though people cannot predict the future, assumptions about what will happen can be deduced from past events.

However God does not want His people to be caught unaware of what is to come, so he had His Story written in the 66 books of the Bible.  From the very beginning God explained His plan to His children, only asking that they place their hope and assurance in the promises of future events.  From past experience people can see that God always "has their backs".  Nothing that happens is unknown to Him and cannot be used for the ultimate good of His people - Jew, Christian, lover of God, seeker of the true Creator of the Universe.

During these dark times, Christians must turn from sin, seek God's forgiveness, repent of sin, and obey His guidance.

Ask God to

Rain - bring to flower, to produce fruit of the spirit, on the garden of the soul

Rein - control the sinful inclinations of wayward thoughts, curb the desire for human control

Reign - rule, lead, the Child of God into a true trusting relationship with the Most High Triune God.

This is my Father's world

Where have you been?

Have you asked that question of friends, family, classmates, the doctor, the minister, or maybe a complete stranger? BUT have you bothered to ask "Where have you been?" of your relationship with the Most High Triune Lord God?  The Creator of the Universe wants to have a living relationship with you in a one to one time of communication.  In the old song, we are reminded that God is waiting for us to actually speak to him as a person speaks to other humans.  June Deniece William s and Miles C. Austin write:                                     I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses,                                     and the voice I hear falling on my ear,                                 ...

Thirst after the pure Word of God

This is my Father's World And I rest me in the thought that though the wrong seems oft so strong GOD IS THE RULER YET. Depend on the Most High Creator Lord God who loves you more than human thought, words, or actions can express.  Let His love flood through your life and surround you.   Daily give your life to the control and guidance of God.
