Wait-Watch-Pray

Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Please Lord put in my heart and soul the words you want people to hear. Thank you for your mighty blessings. Amen

Grey skies tumbling clouds humming winds the promise of rain sweeps across the land into the waiting heart. Like the promise of rain, God softens the hearts of His children and plants seeds - which bring forth fruit in due season. Fruit hope peace joy patience trust mercy grace. Like the tight buds of spring, God's garden promises wonderous beauty. Wait patiently Wait quietly Wait - Watch - Pray for the guidance of God and His return for His people. Sweeping promises fill the waiting soul giving sweet rewards of patience and hope. God gives His awesome gifts to His children when they ask. Wait - Watch - Pray continually staying in close touch with the Father who loves His children.

GOD'S WILL BE DONE. Four words that roll off the tongue and into waiting ears, but the practice of accepting and following God's will remains the most difficult activity of any Child of God - anyone who seeks to follow in the steps of Jesus. Romans 12:9-21 provides a practical DAILY pattern to follow.  Love all  Avoid evil and cling tightly to that which is good Honor others above yourself Do all things as a task done for the Lord God Rejoice with hope in trying times and pray constantly Share what you have Bless who curse you Share the sorrows and joys of others Treat everyone as equal - give all of them honor Be honest in your dealings with others Live in peace (if possible, and remember that God will take care of you. Overcome evil with good Trust in the Lord and seek to do His will, daily.  Ask for His guidance and protection.

As you continue to wait, watch, and pray for the return of the Lord Jesus who will return for his family as He promised after His resurrection, turn to the Lord Most High God in trust and hope. Turn to Him in the good times and the times that seem to overwhelm you with troubles. Turn to Him in times of hope and joy. Turn to Him in times of fear and anger. Turn to Him daily. Turn to Him always. Surrender your problems and joys to God.  He will always be there for you no matter what. Trust the Lord and give thanks for His many blessings. Remember we see our lives like the bottom of a tapestry, a confusing tangle of knots and a jumble of random colored threads.  When we get to heaven we will see the beauty of our lives as God sees it. Trust the Lord.

All too often the child of God asks what am I to do to advance the Kingdom of God, and then ignores what is right in front of him. Not all of us are called to be another Billy Graham or Peter. All of us are called to share the Word of God with those we meet. Share by words or actions. Show the grace of God to those who need help or encouragement. Live so that the LIGHT of God shines through you onto people you meet daily. Give of your time, talents, money, feelings, hope. SHARE GOD'S AWESOME LOVE WITH THE WORLD AROUND YOU willingly and with a grateful heart. Daily ask God to place in your thoughts and actions His spirit and do what he directs you to do.  Remember He is the guide of your life and the protector of your soul.  Follow the Great Shepard.

Prayer Lord Jesus, Creator of the Universe Lover of Mankind Savior Sacrifice Lord of all creation Use me as a living sacrifice for your Honor and Glory. Please Lord, show me what you would have me do. Take my mind and open it to your knowledge Take my heart and keep it soft and listening to your promptings Take my hand and use them to help others. Take my talents and craft them into something beautiful for all to see. Please Lord, protect my family from all harm and guide their thoughts and actions. What do I really believe? The Apostles' Creed defines my beliefs best. I believe in God the Father, Almighty maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ His only son, our Lord. Who was born of the Virgin Mary suffered under Pontius Pilot, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father, Almighty. From there He will judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life ever lasting. These are facts as outlined by God in His Word, and I believe in what God says.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.  In all ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. Daily seek God's guidance in your life.  Ask Him to clearly show you the answers to your questions.  Trust the Lord God Almighty for everything.  He will take care of you always.  God loves His children and though he allows them free choice, he will never refuse to rescue anyone who repents of poor choices and returns to the Father. Ask for directions with a willing heart and a listening ear.  Seek the path which is narrow and difficult because the way to God is individual choice to follow Jesus who is the ONLY Way to have a relationship with God.   In all things, Jesus is the key that opens the door to God at the perfect time for each person.  Be ready to race through the door into God's welcoming arms and loving grace. Mark 14:31-37 Jesus clearly told ALL of His followers that the time of His return is unknown to anyone except God, the Father.  Jesus told us to WATCH and PRAY because the times would be full of terrible trouble and calamity.  2020 started with wars, rumors of war, hate, distrust, anger, famine, plagues, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, and fires.  Each event seems to compound the danger and death of the next. The children of God must watch for His return which is at hand. Watch and be ready. Watch and pray because you do not want to be found slacking off on your assignment. What ever you do, do it to the best of your ability to bring honor, glory, and praise to the Most High God. Jesus is coming soon It may be morning. It may be night. It may be noon. Be ready always,  Watch and Pray, stay in constant communication with God.      

Everyday the sun shines on the earth and continues the cycle of life that God started when he created the Solar System.  On this small planet, in a small galaxy, in a minor cluster of galaxies, near the edge of the Universe, God began His gift of love.  He made Man and gave him the right to choose.  The right to a living relationship with Him or not.  Not only did God give His creation a choice, He provided a WAY out of the mess humans made.  The WAY required a HOLY PURE sacrifice of a human being.  Only Jesus can give people the gift of salvation, of a relationship with God, of the opportunity to live in peace with God.  Centuries have passed since the religious establishment rejected Jesus, refused His perfect gift, and rebelled against God.  Now more than ever, people need to follow the narrow path of God.  He will lead His children into a relationship with him, BUT even NOW people have the right to choose. John 3:16-17  For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. God did not send His son to condemn the world but to save the world to everlasting life. 1 John 4:9  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him. God loved the whole world enough to allow His only begotten son to be come the paid in full sacrifice for our sins.  He gave everything.  Is it too much to ask that you give yourself to Him?  So that you can spend eternity with the Holy Triune God who created the Universe. What an awesome God I serve that he LOVES so much... Please Lord Jesus allow your love to pour through me onto those that I meet.

1 Peter 1:3-9 God opens His Word at His perfect timing - stud His word so that He will teach you what you need to know. Put on the full armor of God Ephesians 5:10-18 By putting on the full armor of God, His children will be able to stand against the evils of the world and stand ready to fight against those who hate God, the Almighty Creator of the Universe. Put on the Helmet of Salvation - the knowledge that Jesus is the Only path to a relationship with God. the Breast plate of right living - following the guidance of God daily the Belt of Truth - hang on to the Word of God the Foot Wear of Good News - spread God's peace of spirit the Sword of the Spirit - the revealed Word of God - what God says found in the Bible DAILY PRAYER for all things Stand in the armor of God ready to defend the Faith from the attacks of the world.

The Wailing Wall - where the faithful pray for God to protect His people and guide the leaders of the world.  Pray for God's will to be done, always.

In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus specifically asks that God's will be done.  When He was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, He begged to not have to suffer the horrible death on the cross.  Jesus, however, then said, "But THY WILL be done, not mine."  Although Jesus knew the price he would pay, he willingly submitted to the will of God.  Can we do less? Daily, surrender your choices to the guidance of the Most High God who will not allow you to endure more than you and He can handle.  God will always be beside and walk with His children.  When they cannot go any further, He will carry you.  Ask God for His will to be done, not your emotions to be filled.  Trust in the Lord to have your best interests in mind in all of your life. GRACE, unmerited favor, gives a person unlimited access to a pure and holy God. God gives His love without limit. Repeatedly forgives sin to the contrite heart Abundant mercy, filling a person with love to flowing over, flooding the soul with joy Crowning the Lord Jesus as ruler of individual lives Eternal GRACE. "Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found was blind but now I see."  1779 John Newton - an ex-slave ship captain who became a slave to the Lord Jesus and served as a evangelist in the late 1700s.  His words still resonate with the lost, seeking, and rescued people of the world.  In this lost and hurting world, anyone can trust the Lord Jesus to understand the needs and hurts caused by an unfeeling world.  Turn to Jesus who loves you (yes, you) beyond measure and pours His Merciful Grace into you and your life.

Please Most High and Holy Father, who reigns in Heaven and on Earth, who is Holy and Pure, help your children to seek your guidance and help. Teach us to see your perfect will and to apply this knowledge to our daily lives. Lord show us how to treat others as we want to be treated. Remind us that your eternal Word is our source of strength and comfort. Pour your peace into our spirits as we stand in the Gap between You and the world. Thank You Most Holy Triune God creator of the Universe for pouring your mercy and grace into our lives and giving us the opportunity to share these gifts with the people in our lives. Thank You Lord for your pattern for our lives and for showing us what to do daily. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your mighty blessings. Abraham Lincoln Now more than ever Christians must pray that the people of the United States find a way to meet on common ground.  A way to see how each of us is similar to the other and to celebrate the uniqueness of each person. God created each person as a unique gift to others.  We must pray for guidance and leadership that will provide support and encouragement to others no matter how different. I may not agree with you,  BUT   I will to my death your right to make your choices. God gave us the gift of choice.  choose wisely.

As the storms of war and pestilence rage, turn to the only true source of safety - the Most High God who created the heavens and the earth. As a faithful child of God, ask in total belief and humility that the Lord God provide protection and shelter for His people.  That He lead the children, the sheep of His pasture, into the safety of His sheep fold.  Remembering that He came to seek and save the lost. Jesus told the story of a shepherd who left ninety-nine of his faithful sheep to seek the lost lamb crying for help. In your prayers cry out for the help of God, trusting that he will hear the sincere heart and will provide a solution to the problem and help for the hurting.  Ask God to lead, guide and direct your life daily. Seek the Lord while he may be found. Trust the Lord always. Hide your soul in the shelter of His wings, like a chick snuggles next to its mother at night. PRAY FOR SAFETY, HELP, HOPE, AND JOY.

Did you call your mother today? your father? your siblings? family? Did you speak to God, the Creator of the Universe and the Father of Jesus, today? Prayer is your chance to build your relationship with God. Prayer is your chance to express your ideas to some one who really cares and wants the best for each of His children. Prayer is your chance to offer yourself as a living daily sacrifice to the Most High God. PRAYER IS YOUR LIFELINE. Remember to "Pray without ceasing", humbly, with a contrite heart, seeking your father's perfect will. When you do not know what to pray, pray the prayer that never fails - "Thy will be done." Ask for God's leadership, protection, and mercy in the lives of the national leaders, the lives of people in your community, the lives of your family, the lives of your friends, and in your life. "Pray without ceasing."  1st Thessalonians 5:17 God, the Creator of the Universe and Master of all of the World, wants to hear from you in all things, about all needs.  When you seek God in humble prayer and honesty, He will hear you and demonstrate His power.  Do not let Satan rob you of this wonderful line of communication.  God hears every faint to loud request and will answer them at exactly the right time.  Keep praying and seeking the face of the Most High Triune God.  Be a prayer warrior and roar with the power of God.

Jesus paid a terrible price for my soul. On His back the soldiers crisscrossed His perfect skin with a cat o' nine tails. They stripped Him of His clothing. They mocked Him and shoved a crown of thorns on His bloody brow forcing Him to carry the beam that would support His dying body. Yet He never turned away from the agony of the death on the Roman cross because He looked down the centuries and saw me. A Sinner who depended on Him to provide the price of freedom Freedom from the penalty of sin Freedom from the accusations of Satan Freedom to choose Jesus as my only hope. Freedom to build a living relationship with the Holy Creator of me. He bore all my guilt and shame so that I can live with Him forever. Rejoice in the Master the Lord God of the Universe the God-Man who loved me enough to sacrifice everything for me for you for all humanity. He owns me - body, heart, mind, soul. HE OWNS ME!
